Als ein zusätzliches Hintergrundgebäude, habe ich mir von ALSACAST einen Resinbausatz zugelegt. Ich hatte zuvor von diesem Hersteller noch nichts gehört, bis ich auf Ebay dieses Angebot gefunden hatte. Die Verarbeitung des Bausatzes ist normal für Resin. Es muss immer nachgearbeitet werden. Feilen und schleifen und hin und wieder mit dem Cuttermesser etwas nach schneiden. Ansonsten ließ der Bausatz sich gut verarbeiten. Nach dem Zusammenbau habe ich noch mit Farbe einige Akzente gesetzt und mit Pigmentfarben etwas patiniert.

As an additional background building, I bought a resin kit from ALSACAST. I hadn't heard from this manufacturer until I found this offer on Ebay. The processing of the kit is normal for resin. It always has to be reworked. Files and grinds and every now and then re-cut something with a craft knife. Otherwise the kit was easy to work with. After the assembly, I added a few accents with paint and patinated it with pigment paints

Als Neuzugang im Hafen, muss ein kleiner Portalkran natürlich nicht fehlen. Die ist ein einfachen kleiner Kran-Bausatz von Faller. Nix besonderes und auch ohne Funktion.

As a new addition to the port, a small gantry crane should of course not be missing. It's a simple little crane kit from Faller. Nothing special and also without function.

Als nächsten Arbeitsschritt, habe ich schon mal an dem Boden angefangen. Dieser bekommt vorne an Kopfsteinpflaster. Diesen habe ich auf 120g Papier gedruckt und auf die vorverlegten Balsaholzbrettchen aufgeklebt.

As a next step, I started with the floor. This gets in front of cobblestones. I printed this on 120g paper and glued it to the balsa wood boards that had been laid in advance.

Hier wurden bereits die Torkästen und die Torrahmen  angebracht. Danach wurden alle Holzteile grau gestrichen. Der Sockel bekam auch noch seine Farbe. Anschließend wurde das Dach aufgebracht. Dafür benutze ich Bastelpapier welches schon fertig gewellt ist. Bekommt man in jedem gut sortierten Laden. Anschließen ist das Dach noch mit Pigmentfarbe behandelt worden.

The goal boxes and goal frames have already been attached here. Then all wooden parts were painted gray. The base also got its color. Then the roof was put on. For this I use construction paper which is already corrugated. You can get it in every well-stocked shop. The roof was then treated with pigment paint.

Nun ging es weiter am Hafenboden, welchen ich aus gedruckten Kopfsteinpflaster auf Papier mache. Darüber hinaus habe ich noch einige Hintergrundgebäude ausgedruckt, welche das ganze noch objektiver gestalten.

Now it went on on the harbor floor, which I make out of printed cobblestones on paper. In addition, I have printed out some background buildings, which make the whole thing even more objective.

Nun bekommt der zweite Storage noch seine Laderampen. Die Vorlagen habe ich mir aus dem Internet geholt. Habe sie dann ausgedruckt und auf dünne Pappe geklebt. Die Vorrampe ist aus 2mm Balsaholz.

The second storage now has its loading ramps. I got the templates from the Internet. I then printed it out and glued it to thin cardboard. The ramp is made of 2mm balsa wood.

Nun wurden die Hintergrundgebäude positioniert. Diese schönen Gebäude habe ich ebenfalls aus dem Internet. Habe sie am PC noch etwas modifiziert und dementsprechend der Größe angepasst. Danach habe ich die Vorlagen auf Hartschaumplatten geklebt und ausgeschnitten. Zusätzlich ist nun auch mein Lattenzaun zum Einsatz gekommen. (Darüber hatte ich schon geschrieben).

Also ich denke der Gesamteindruck sieht schon sehr gut aus.

The background buildings have now been positioned. I also got these beautiful buildings from the Internet. I modified it a bit on the PC and adjusted it to the size accordingly. Then I glued the templates to rigid foam boards and cut them out. In addition, my picket fence has now also been used. (I had already written about that).
So I think the overall impression looks very good.
